In Telemac3d, When do you use non-conservative from Navier –Stokes equations ? and conservative from Navier –Stokes equations?

Hello

Telemac-3D is based mainly on the non conservative form of Navier-Stokes equations which are discretized using a finite element algorithm.
The conservative form is more suitable to finite volumes.
