I'm currently working with Telemac 3D, using the JMJ tidal data base for my simulations. But the water elevation simulated by Telemac is not exactly matching the elevation measured by the tidal gauge (see in attachment). It seems that on one high tide over two, the water elevation is overestimated. Could that comes from the fact that JMJ tidal data base is using only 4 harmonics ? The influence of another harmonic could it be missing ? Do I have to use another data base with more harmonics, such as NEA data base or TPXO data base?

I don't know in detail the JMJ database but according to your graphics, this sounds like a diurnal harmonic is missing...
Is there a particular reason you choose JMJ database?
I only used TPXO database up to now and it works well so I think you could try to use it also.

Christophe is right. With JMJ database, you only have 4 constituents (M2, S2, N2 and M4), in particular no diurnal constituents.
You should use one of the TPXO-like tidal solutions (depending on the area you want to model) or the NEA data base if located around the North East Atlantic or English channel coasts.
